Strutter Flies

We reported in our last issue that the French Memorial Flight’s Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter Model 1 B2, c/n 2897, was on the verge of a first flight following an eleven year restoration.

We are pleased to report that flight occurred at La Ferte Alais airfield on 30th April. Undertaken in perfect weather the test flights revealed that the aircraft handled exceptionally well.
