Arthur's P-40

Arthur's P-40It has become an almost unwritten rule that P-40s being restored to fly in New Zealand will be completed and test flown just in time to debut at the major Easter air show, either Wanaka or Omaka. This year was no exception with Allan Arthur's stunning P-40N-1 flying just days before heading down to thrill the crowds at Wanaka, marked in its very attractive 112 Sq. colours. This article describes the rebuild and is complimented with air to airs over the stunning Marlborough Coast.

Avenger Over OZ

Avenger TBMA TBM fire bomber has under gone a major transformation into wartime configuration and has recently taken to the air in Australia. Formerly 'Tanker 21' with Forest Products Ltd, the aircraft was one of several retired and offered up for sale, being purchased by Australian businessman Steve Searle. What followed was a meticulous restoration and this is described in the article - the end result is captured on its first flight and is testament to the dedication of those involved.
